Zion holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. His clinical experience includes individual and group therapy in both outpatient and inpatient settings, with training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, addiction recovery, trauma-informed care, diagnostic assessment, and faith-integrated counseling. He is also a SYMBIS Certified Facilitator, helping couples strengthen and prepare for healthy relationships.

His therapeutic approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy, helping clients address present challenges while exploring deeper patterns shaped by past experiences. Zion also incorporates DBT skills, trauma-informed care, and faith-based counseling when aligned with a client’s goals and values.
