Linda McGrew, MA, LCMHC is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and founding partner of Carolinas Counseling Group.  She has spent decades helping adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, wisdom and practical guidance. 

With graduate degrees in both counseling and Biblical studies, Linda thoughtfully integrates Christian faith into her work. She believes that emotional healing and spiritual growth go hand in hand and enjoys helping clients deepen both. 

Linda has a special passion for working with adults and couples as they navigate life’s many transitions like marriage, starting and growing a family, starting a career, moving, empty-nesting, retirement, caregiving for aging parents, supporting adult children and loss of a spouse. She encourages them to work through these transitions with resilience and confidence. 

Linda views counseling as a collaborative process that combines the counselor’s professional expertise with the client’s courage and commitment to change. She understands that the decision to seek professional counseling is both difficult and important.  Her counseling is evidence-based and drawn primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy.  She earned her M.A. in Counseling and Guidance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and her M.A. in Biblical Studies from Liberty University.
