She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from South University and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University.

She uses an integrative counseling approach tailored to each client’s unique needs. Her therapeutic style blends Person-Centered, Reality Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused techniques. Clarissa incorporates tools such as mindfulness practices, thought journaling, and identifying unhelpful thinking patterns to help clients create lasting change. She also considers family background, attachment history, and relational patterns to form a holistic understanding of each client.
Clarissa believes counseling is a collaborative process where healing, growth, and wholeness can unfold. She understands that while reasons for seeking therapy vary, every individual has the capacity to move forward with greater awareness, resilience, and self-compassion.
